Stuart Lunn, a recently qualified dentist, occupied No. 2 between 1911 and 1913.1 He was born in Edinburgh on 03 June 1886, son of Robert Lunn and Mary Ann Courtneidge,2 and grew up at No. 4 Malta Terrace. He was recorded in the 1911 census as living at No. 4.3 He was admitted Licentiate in Dental Surgery (LDS) in 1907 and registered as a dentist on 09 January 1909.4 He was a captain in the Royal Army Medical Corps.5
Stuart Lunn married Maud Annie Dale at Macclesfield, Cheshire on 22 September 1915 and the couple moved to London Road, Norbury, London.6 In 1921, Stuart Lunn was in practice and living with his wife in Whyteleaf Road, Norbury, London.7 By 1938 he was back in Edinburgh at 3 Comely Bank and in practice with his brother James McDougall Lunn.8 He died at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Edinburgh on 27 July 1974.9 His widow Maud Dale or Lunn died in Edinburgh the following year.10
