Charles Rule

Charles Rule and Annie H. L. Rule were at listed at No 5 in electoral rolls between 1955 and 1966.¹ They were at 22 Balmoral Place between 1945 and 1955.²

Charles Rule, an insurance agent, and Annie Hardie Lindsay Smith, a bookkeeper, married in Edinburgh on 21 October 1939.³ He was born in 1916⁴ son of Walter Rule, a tailor, and Jessie Main. He died in Edinburgh in 2003.⁵

Annie Hardie Lindsay Smith was born in Edinburgh in 1915⁶ daughter of Norman Smith, a window cleaner, and Annie Lindsay. She died in Edinburgh in 2001.⁷
