Aeneas Alexander Henderson and his wife Jean Allan Miller Henderson were listed at No. 7 St Bernard’s Row in the electoral registers of 1947 and 1948.1 Aeneas A. Henderson was born at Falkirk on 25 May 1921,2 son of Aeneas A. Henderson, a school teacher, and his wife Agnes Constance Keith. He was engineering student serving in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve in 19443 and was listed a Temporary RNVR Sub-Lieutenant in 1945.4 He died at Bracknell, Berkshire in 1996.5
Jean Allan Miller Henderson was born on 13 March 1923,6 daughter of Thomas Marshall Lyall Henderson, a farmer, and Mary Campbell Miller. When she married Aeneas Alexander Henderson in Dundee on 14 November 1944, she was a chemist’s assistant and a private in the Auxiliary Territorial Service.7 She died in 2006 at Slough, Berkshire.8
