No. 3 Malta Terrace first appeared in the Post Office Directory in 1831-32, a decade after construction in Malta Terrace began. The house was unfinished when advertised for sale in June 1830.1 When the house was advertised for sale in 1862 it was described as having a dining-room, drawing-room, five bedrooms, kitchen and servants’ room, along with a ‘good’ garden.2
