Peter Burn Jr

Peter Burn Junior was resident at No. 6 about 1849, along with his uncle Cmdr. Peter Burn. He was born c.1825 in Glasgow, the son of George Burn, a coach proprietor (and brother of the elder Peter Burn), and Rebecca Scott. His own occupation was house proprietor. About 1850, Peter Burn Jr. moved to 1 London Street, Edinburgh. He died, unmarried, in 1872.

His two unmarried sisters, Margaret Scott Burn (born c.1824) and Helen Burn (b. c.1827), were living with him in 1851 and may also have been at no. 6 in 1849.
