Mrs Eliza Milne, one of the first residents of Malta Terrace, was at No. 7 from 1821 until about 1827. (It is assumed that Mrs Mylne listed in the earliest directories, without a house number, is the same person as the Mrs Eliza Milne listed in the post office directory for 1826/27.)

Alexander Somerville

Alexander Somerville, a wine merchant, lived at No. 9 between 1821/22 and 1836/37. He was also described as an agent for the True Sun newspaper and Crown Life.
