Mrs Eliza Milne

Mrs Eliza Milne, one of the first residents of Malta Terrace, was at No. 7 from 1821 until about 1827. (It is assumed that Mrs Mylne listed in the earliest directories, without a house number, is the same person as the Mrs Eliza Milne listed in the post office directory for 1826/27.)

He was born at Govan on 16 March 1785, son of Neil Somerville, a merchant trading with the West Indies, and his wife Eleanora Scott.
