James Forman Henderson, who worked for the Bank of Scotland, lived at No. 4 from about 1855 to 1865.<\/span>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span> James Henderson was born at Muckart, Perthshire and baptised there on 16 June 1811, son of Alexander Henderson and Grizel Forman.<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span> He was a clerk and dealer of shares in Edinburgh when his estate was sequestered in July 1847.<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> In the 1851 census his occupation was given as clerk in the Bank of Scotland.<\/span>4<\/sup><\/a><\/span> The 1881 census described him as a retired bank accountant.<\/span>5<\/sup><\/a><\/span> He died in Edinburgh on 10 October 1891 and was buried at St Cuthbert\u2019s.<\/span>6<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

James Henderson married Ann Edgar White, daughter of Robert White and Ann Edgar, on 15 July 1841, in Edinburgh.<\/span>7<\/sup><\/a><\/span> She was born in 1823 died 1884.<\/span>8<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
