John Cardno, cooper, Fraserburgh, son of William Cardno and Elizabeth Cummine, was born on 23rd February bapt 2nd March 1803. He married Jane Lyall, daughter of James Lyall, farmer, Uras[?], Stonehaven. The date of the marriage, which took place at Aberdeen was 29 November 1838.
