John had a sister also called Mary Ann b)1817.I have no further details of her life, but her mother Isabella Soutter came to London in 1847,presumably to join John she died there the following year. It could be that her daughter Mary who would have been 30 came with her at this time and it was she who married Wm Oldfield.
