  • Notes  Married:
    • An Interesting Wedding - Our esteemed townsman Mr Alexander Cardno, hairdresser, High Street, is to be married tomorrow to Miss Badenoch, M.A., School teacher, Airdrie, who was formerly on the staff of the Central School, here, and who took a great interest in the work of Saltoun Place U. F. Church Sunday School. On Thursday evening Mr Cardno, who is a prominent member of St. Andrew's Church, was presented by the officer-bearers with a beautiful silver tea service. Rev. John Robson, who made the presentation, referred to Mr Cardno's devoted work in connection with the congregation, and all office-bearers present spoke in laudatory terms regarding Mr Cardno and his future wife. Fraserburgh Herald and Northern Counties' Advertiser, 29 June 1920.
