Alexander Cardno (35) , 75 Gairn Terrace, Aberdeen, fish curer, was killed when his pedal cycle was involved in a collision with a motor lorry. The accident occurred near the junction of the South Deeside road and tehe road leading to Heathcot Blairs. Cardno received severe head injuries when thrown against a dyke.
