Friendly Society Veteran Dead
Mr Andrew Cardno, retired cooper, who died at his home, 32 Mid Street, Fraserburgh, at the age of eighty-nine, was a native of the town and took a lively interest in the Friendly Society movement.
He was an original member of the Kinnaird Lodge of Oddfellows, had been an office-bearer for over forty years, and at the time of his death held the office of Guardian.
Mr Cardno was predeceased by his wife a few years ago.
