  Mary Ann Cardno b)1846 (daughter of John) moved from London to Huddersfield with her father before 1852. I wonder if this can be William Oldfields wife. John had a sister also called Mary Ann b)1817.I have no further details of her life, but her mother Isabella Soutter came to London in 1847,presumably to join John she died there the following year. It could be that her daughter Mary who would have been 30 came with her at this time and it was she who married Wm Oldfield. [Pam Cardno]Free BMD records the death of a Mary Ann Oldfield in Huddersfield in the Dec Q 1888 aged 41 Vol 9a page 192.
