No. 4 was one of the unfinished houses in Malta Terrace advertised for sale in 1830.1 The first occupant, listed in the 1832-33 Post Office Directory, was Mrs. James Walker.
When advertised for sale in June 1990, the property comprised a hall, bow-ended sitting room, dining room, 5 bedrooms, kitchen and utility room.2
